Wearable Waves at

The Lobster Hatchery

Join Gemma during her solo exhibition at The National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow (which runs from 23rd May until 1st June) to get creative and learn about repurposing and upcycling to help protect our oceans for our precious marine life and our future generations.

Gemma will talk you through all the many ways in which you can re think waste and discarding unwanted items, showing you how you can save things from ending up on landfill or floating around in our oceans, polluting the water and harming the precious ecosystem and marine life which The National Lobster Hatchery works tirelessly to protect.

Bring along a denim jacket, hoody or tote bag to work on - most people have something in the wardrobe that can be transformed, and allow Gemma to show you how to paint a shoreline beach scene onto it, we may even add some lobsters!
