This surf art piece is a collaborative project with Seascape Artist Gemma Lessinger, fine art printer The Logical Choice Group and surfboard shaper Rochfort Customs. Three Cornish based businesses are coming together to help reduce waste and protect our oceans.

Once destined for landfill, this board has had all damage repaired by Rochfort Customs, who work very closely with the charity Surfers Not Street Children. The money from purchasing this board and using it as a ‘canvas’ goes straight to the charity in South Africa. Gemma then works with The Logical Choice Group to print one of her unique surf art pieces onto fibreglass, then re-glassed onto the surfboard ‘canvas’ by Rochfort Customs. This board is a print from Gemma's original painting 'Surfs Up At Fistral' This piece focuses on the iconic Fistral beach, on a day where the surf was firing and there was lots of power and momentum in the water, bubbling below the surface. I wanted to capture that moment of pure elation once the surfer had caught the wave.

A further donation is made to the charity from the final sale of the board, along with Gemma’s commitment to donate toward charity Surfers Against Sewage from every one of her sales.

This comes with hanging loops in the back to hang horizontally on or a wall. Or can be displayed on a surfboard stand.

If you are interested in a zoom or video call for a virtual viewing, please contact Gemma.

Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery.
