I am constantly out exploring Cornwall and on the hunt for new coves. This place was an extra-ordinary find. A small but stunning bay which had beautiful sandy shores, mostly calm and a great wild swimming spot. Yes, you’ve guessed it, its Daymer Bay.
I have used sand and sea salt in the paint to build the texture in this piece, using sand from the beach on the shoreline to build depth.
